The Carabinieri in Modena
We were watching the passiegata, when the carabinieri drove up and went up onto the footpath to check out a little park. We got into trouble for taking a photo of them.

The Public Garden in Modena
Alessandro last went to this garden when he was eighteen months old. On this trip he really enjoyed the pond with all the ducks, geese, carp and turtles.

I climbed the big San Gimignano Tower
The big tower is the one on the right, and that's the view from the terrace of our hotel room.

San Marco in Florence
We went to see the world's greatest fresco, The Annunciation by Fra Angelico. It's in the convent next to San Marco at Piazza San Marco.

We went to see the real David, but I also saw the one at Piazza della Signoria and also the one up at Piazalle Michelangelo.
